‘During the summer of 2022, I had a 10-week summer internship working in the operations division at FWD Life Insurance. My short but extremely rewarding internship journey at the insurance firm was wonderful and fruitful. I was not only exposed to the internal workings of the company but was also able to expand my network with the plentiful opportunities that were given to me throughout the internship.

In the 10 weeks that I was at FWD, I was able to partake in various tasks which allowed me to be actively involved section of operations at the firm regarding claims. I had to opportunity to perform data and trend analysis of past financial data and compile reports. I also had the chance to perform UAT testing which was something completely foreign to me and hence a great learning opportunity. Moreover, the various site visits and networking opportunities with senior management and division heads helped deepen my industry knowledge and helped further my career planning.
