‘If I were asked to choose my university program again, I will again rank GLEF as my first and only choice with no hesitation. During the GLEF Journey, I learned the solid knowledge for my career, I met the right people for my future life, and I built the numerous wonderful experience that I will never forget. 

My job, investment research, requires me to think in a mind with a combination of Science and Art. In the courses of Finance and Accounting, I learnt the concrete foundation of the common language of the business world. In most of the case, you can find the right answers here. It is Science. While the Economics courses provided us the ample training to rethink our assumptions. Rethink the multiple outcomes based on different set of realistic assumptions. This part is lean more towards the Art part. These training gives me a right mindset to think rigorously and independently. This is critical for my career. I am glad that I chose GLEF instead of pure finance. 

On the other hand, the culture in this program is friendly and cooperative. As a person coming from Taiwan, knowing nothing about Cantonese, I experienced zero exclusion feeling but 100% inclusion by my classmates. I love the atmosphere of this program. People are all willing to help each other, which creates the positive cycle for everyone to grow.
