‘During my summer internship at RD Technologies in the 2024 summer, I worked in the operations department of this innovative financial technology company. 

The major products and services offered by the company include RD wallet and stablecoin, HKDR. I was pleased to learn more about Web 3.0 and cryptocurrency, as well as their potential impact on the financial landscape.

My role focused on client onboarding and conducting the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, which involved verifying client information to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the operational backbone of financial services and the anti-money laundering (AML) policies of the banking industry. Throughout the internship, I had the opportunity to engage in hands-on tasks and collaborate with experienced professionals, which deepened my understanding of both the technology and financial sectors. 

The internship also facilitated networking opportunities with industry professionals, enhancing my career development. Overall, this experience has equipped me with essential skills in operations and compliance, reinforcing my career aspirations in the financial industry and enhancing technical knowledge about the financial institutions.’
