“‘Navigate FinTech disruption, Spark to my FinTech career.’ -  concludes my internship of being a student trainee in HSBC Digital Mobile Banking. 

Working in a dynamic FinTech environment, I experienced that whole development of the core banking app - HSBC HK Mobile Banking app and other digital deliverables.  I learnt that banks should have visions of driving customers to be more digitally active and delivering digitalized communication. Eventually, the digitalization would bring efficiency and better customer relationship management to the business. Meanwhile, offering more customized customer experience would help the banks to compete against tech giants. The disruption in banking could be a win-win situation to banks and customers. In short, the hands-on experience is valuable to let me navigate FinTech disruption and stands me in a good stead in the future.

On top of that, the internship has been a ‘Spark to my FinTech career’, I was inspired and well prepared to develop my future career in digital or FinTech career. With the purpose of being the future leader of digital, I understood the importance of having greater eagerness to learn, more sense of digitalization in banking as well as good multi-tasking and time management skills.”
