“I interned in the Strategic Planning and Corporate Development Department at Hang Seng Bank during the fall semester in 2017. This internship has been remarkably rewarding for me as I have participated in various strategic planning projects, such as Pearl River Delta Strategy and Peer Comparison of mainland China market. I was also responsible for collecting the monthly consolidated data from different business units and preparing a performance report for the Bank’s management, thereby able to understand the Bank’s structure and operations comprehensively. 

Despite the fast-paced and highly demanding tasks, I enjoyed working with a team made up of the most talented and dedicated people. Working in a bank was definitely not dull. Every day I faced different challenges, which in turns helped me improve my technical and interpersonal skills. This was a place where I put what I have learnt in the textbooks into practice.”
